The San Juan River In Late November

With unusually warm winter weather the Midge hatches on the San Juan have been to say the least incredible! Tons of midge clusters mean throwing, "Dead Chicken's" or otherwise known as #12-14 Griffith’s Gnats followed by #22-26 midge dries and emergers. Trout were looking-up for food all day long making for some great dry fly action this past week.
