All around the streams in the West there is a prized hatch that sometimes flies under the radar of many competent anglers. The Little Yellow Sally is a distinct hatch that can mark the start of the summer season almost as well as the hours of daylight. This insect is in stark contrast to what most anglers envision when thinking about stonefly adults. Most of these adults fall in the 5/8" to 1 1/4" in length.
